Two days after its first posting, a new video of one of our favourite DJ's, David Guetta, has already garnered close to half a million viewers.
The October concert, which took place atop the historic Masada fortress in Israel, and dubbed as 'A Party 424 Meters Under the Sea' attracted some 20,000 people.
In the video, Guetta speaks of his ‘sojourn’ to Israel, and includes footage of his performing the songs “Titanium” and “Play Hard.” Guetta shares his thoughts on the trip, saying that “When I play in a country for the first time, or in a place like this where it’s quite a challenge to be in the middle of a desert, I don’t know what to expect. And that’s what is so challenging and exciting about being a DJ.”
He also told the audience that “this is making me emotional. It’s been many years and I haven’t played here and it’s really special for me. I’m really, really happy to be with you tonight. When there’s 20,000 people like tonight and we feel like one, that’s what makes me feel really special. When we all feel like one, that’s when it’s magic.”
Guetta spoke on how he was amazed by Masada, saying it was and is “a symbol for Israel, and I think for the world too.” Of performing in Israel, he noted that he had some "amazing memories here.”
